The menu concept is a play on the traditional British pub; savoury snacks washed down with a pint, a hearty roast with a gravy so glossy you catch your reflection, and a sweet treat to send you to sleep to finish it all off. Think chaat masala pork scratchings and Punjabi pickles to tandoori cauliflower cheese, a spicy caesar, and chilli roast chicken. But this isn’t a classic pub experience — every bite draws on Roo’s Indian roots, with elements of each dish inspired by the strong and very special women in her life: Mum, Lucy, Naniji, Zoe, Pupa Ba, Rema Masi, Sehej, Sim, Avantika, Sapna, Mara, Pri, Nadiya, Maria, Husna. This meal brings a bit of Roo to all of you. Welcome home. *For this event we cannot cater for vegans.

Ruhi Parmar Amin is a British-Indian chef from North London whose first step into the world of food was rolling chapatis next to her grandma at the age of three. Now, with a decade of experience in gastronomy, from 2* kitchens and restaurant residencies to culinary experiences and numerous popups, Roo draws on her heritage to redefine the narrative within South Asian cuisine. Roo is the co-founder of newly launched Firangi, a home for experimental South Asian cooking with upcoming popups in Berlin and London.
